An exceptional farmhouse ale brewed as a collaboration between Jester King Brewery in Texas and Au Baron. It is brewed with Sabro hops, a very bitter hop with exotic flavours. To balance this punchy bitterness, we pour honey into the boiling tank, which gives the Noblesse Oblige a nice balance that makes it hyper-thirst-quenching. Márcio Lopes' Rebentos Laranja is an orange wine crafted from grapes like Loureiro and Alvarinho, sourced from old vines in the Vinho Verde region of northern Portugal. Márcio employs organic farming and spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, reflecting his low-intervention philosophy. Vibrant flavors of citrus peel, apricot, and dried herbs, with a structured, tannic mouthfeel. Its lively acidity balances the depth of fruit, making it both refreshing and complex.
Lively, expressive, and impossible not to sip—this is Chenin at its most delicious. Old-vine Chenin from the Western Cape, grown organically and crafted by star winemaker Rudger Van Wyk (formerly of Stark Conde wines). Italian blend of Malvasia, Moscato, and Chardonnay. The grapes are harvested early and then fermented with 20 days of carbonic maceration. The carbonic maceration smooths out the acidity from the almost-ripe grapes, and this combined with the skin maceration gives a balanced, still-fruity, yet light wine. “Bassissimo” in Italian means “very low” because of the very low alcohol level (8.5%).
